As a dentist, Dr. Lisa McDonald has made it her mission to create a practice that is dedicated to caring for her patients and a team that is inspired and empowered. As a mother, Dr. McDonald is committed to living a life of purpose, freedom, and joy for her daughter and herself.
Prior to working with NextLevel Practice, these dreams felt out of reach for Dr. McDonald. In 2010 she acquired a 30-year-old practice and a team that was burnt out, frustrated and lacking confidence. She jumped into her new practice with a passion and purpose to serve her patients and build an empowered and profitable practice and team. Over the years, however, Dr. McDonald discovered that she lacked the business knowledge and team management skills necessary to take her practice and team to the next level.
The demands of the practice, moving through the joys and challenges of being a first time mom and transitioning out of an unhappy marriage left Dr. McDonald overwhelmed, stressed and lacking the joy she yearned for.
This moment in Dr. McDonald’s career became a powerful turning point. She knew there was a more joyful, balanced and profitable experience for her practice, daughter and herself. With her innate determination and passion for her mission, Dr. McDonald set out to seek the support she needed to transform her practice and her life.
It was at this time that Dr. McDonald discovered NextLevel Practice and it was the game-changer she had been hoping for.

One patient had this to say of Dr. McDonald and her team:
“A fear of dentists is something I’ve had since childhood. As a result, I put off going to the dentist until absolutely necessary. After being referred to Dr. McDonald by two friends I decided to give her a try.
I was not disappointed. She was very quiet and soft spoken which was reassuring to someone like me and found her and her team to be professional.”

She inspires others to stay steadfast in the pursuit of their vision and embodies how we can show up to life’s turning points with curiosity and conviction.
