The dental world lost a true icon this week with the passing of Dr. Bob Pick. More than a brilliant periodontist, speaker, and thought leader, Bob was a mentor, a friend, and a force of nature in dentistry. His energy, generosity, and passion for helping others were unmatched.

Bob had a way of making an impact everywhere he went. Whether he was sharing his Purple Cow Wow! strategies, helping practices grow through The Pick Group, or catching up with colleagues, he brought enthusiasm and insight to every conversation. He didn’t just teach—he lifted people up, pushed them to think bigger, and encouraged them to take action.

Beyond his professional success, Bob was simply a great person to know. He was warm, funny, and always made time for people. He loved dentistry, and he gave it everything he had. His influence will be felt for years to come—not just in the practices he helped or the professionals he mentored, but in the countless lives he touched along the way.
