Tija was named one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry by Dental Products Report Magazine; She is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA), a former Vice President, where she holds the honor of Master. Tija is a contributor to Dental Products Report, Dentistry IQ.com, and Dental Economics Magazines, and she sits on the Editorial Board for ADS, formally known as OSAP. She is the director of the Dental Careers Institute, a premier dental continuing education resource. Tija is also the author of over 10 CE study courses. She is an international speaker and is a certified trainer in nitrous oxide in several states. She is a certified OSHA and HIPAA trainer and holds certification in Infection Control.
